Spiced Tea

I only knew of "spiced tea" from an evening Bible Study I attended years ago and this was waiting for us on the stove on cold nights. I looked forward to this warm and spiced concoction that can only be described as "Christmas in a Cup."

When I went looking on the internet for the recipe it also came up as Russian tea with some historical reference to a black tea steeped with oranges and spices or as Friendship Tea as it's easy to make a big batch and give away as gifts.

It's quite simple and is a crowd pleaser. I served it at our neighbor get-together on Halloween and decided I should share it with all of you as well!

Mix together

1 cup instant tea

2 cups Tang

2 cups sweetened lemonade drink mix

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon ground cloves

Keep in lidded container.

To serve: Mix 1-2 Tbsp with 6-8 oz. with hot water Enjoy!
